Matthew Liam Conboy
Photography is my primary medium, but my work also incorporates performance, video, painting, drawing, conceptual, and installation art.

While firmly rooted in the present, my work also reflects on the past and anticipates the future. My current projects include tracking the population center of the United States as it moved from Kent Couty, Maryland in 1790 to Texas County, Missouri in 2010 and photographing military medal ribbons of Soldiers killed in the Iraq War.

Past projects included Every Person a Pollock! shown at the Mattress Factory in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and An Event for One or more People shown at the Anderson Gallery in Richmond, Virginia.
